About Me
Belle is a singer and bassist with a sound grounded in blues, soul, and Celtic traditions—shaped into a style that is groove-driven and distinctly her own. Born in New Zealand and based in Australia, Belle’s career has spanned the globe, including extensive tours and residencies throughout London, Europe, Japan, and the Middle East. A Chain Award Finalist for Best New Talent (Milan Hendrik Band), Belle is a versatile force in the scene. She currently performs with Milan Hendrik, the award-winning Limerick – Modern Celtic Band, and the country-folk act The Blindloves, as well as featuring with The Zep Boys alongside a 30-piece orchestra.

With a repertoire spanning Celtic, Blues, and Jazz, Belle has performed with diverse ensembles ranging from the 12-piece swing of The WellSwung Daddies to the rock energy of The Zep Boys. An experienced multi-instrumentalist, she has played guitar and bass for The Propellers (alongside Pete C and Les Karski) and performed with The Soul Sisters, featuring the powerhouse talents of Liza Ohlback, Ali Penny, and Amanda Emblem.

Award-Nominated Blues & Soul The Milan Hendrik Band is a high-caliber collaboration between Belle and multi-instrumentalist, producer, and songwriter Barry Milan. Together, they have forged a groove-heavy sound that earned them a Chain Award Finalist nomination for Best New Talent and taken them from international residencies to major festival stages like Mitchell Creek Rock & Blues.
Combining soulful originals with a sophisticated blues edge, the band is a staple of the Australian blues scene. As a core member, Belle’s driving bass lines and powerhouse vocals are central to the band’s signature original sound.
Limerick MCB
Award-Winning High Energy Winners of Best New Band at the Australian Celtic Music Awards, Limerick delivers a high-octane blend of traditional sounds and original compositions. Belle provides the driving bass and lead vocals alongside Tim Cody, ‘Rabbit’ Paul Robinson, and Craig Tobin.
New Music for 2026 Their upcoming single, “The One and Only You”—a tribute to the late Shane MacGowan (The Pogues) written by Belle—is set for release in early 2026.
The Blindloves
Original Folk & Country-Indie Duo
The Blindloves is the intimate, acoustic side of Belle’s collaboration with Barry Milan. This project focuses exclusively on original songwriting, delivering a raw, folk-country vibe with an indie edge.
A true musical partnership, Belle and Barry swap roles on bass and guitar throughout their set, creating a versatile and ever-changing soundscape. It is a stripped-back, authentic expression of their joint songwriting, designed for stages that value storytelling and live musicality.

Jazz & Soul Residencies When she isn’t on the big stage, Belle brings her love for jazz and blues to more intimate settings. She is a regular performer at HOTA (House of Blues & Jazz, Gold Coast), delivering soul-drenched jazz sets that draw on her deep roots in the genre.
